It is our pleasure to welcome you and share the work, history, and continued impact of our chapter. Chartered on February 1, 1986, the Whiteville Alumnae Chapter proudly celebrates 40 years of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action throughout Columbus and Bladen counties.
Guided by the mission and principles of our illustrious sisterhood, we remain committed to addressing the needs of the communities we serve. Our programs and initiatives are centered around Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s

As a proud chapter of the South Atlantic Region, we strive to strengthen our sisterhood, develop effective leaders, empower our youth, promote educational achievement, advocate for positive change, and provide meaningful service to our communities.
For four decades, the dedicated women of the Whiteville Alumnae Chapter have worked diligently to uphold the legacy established by our 22 courageous Founders. As we honor our rich history, we remain focused on the future and committed to expanding our reach, strengthening our community partnerships, and continuing the important work of Delta.
